Nutrition for Babies
Nutrition is one of the most important factors in a baby’s healthy growth and development. During the first six months, breast milk alone meets all of a baby’s vitamin, mineral, and energy needs. Breast milk strengthens the immune system and is easy to digest. From the 6th month onward, the complementary feeding period begins. At this stage, healthy foods such as vegetable purées, yogurt, and fruit purées are gradually introduced into the baby’s diet.
Each new food should be introduced one at a time and in small amounts, while carefully observing the baby’s reactions. Babies’ water intake should also not be overlooked. After the first year, the transition to family meals begins. Balanced, natural, and additive-free eating habits help support a healthy lifestyle in later years.
